La Traviata at the Royal Opera House

The Stanford Club of Great Britain is pleased to announce that opera tickets for the 13 June 2015 performance of La Traviata at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden are now available. Prices include a pre-performance reception for members and guests of the Stanford Club of Great Britain held in the Paul Hamlyn Hall at the ROH.

La Traviata -- an opera by Giuseppe Verdi (1813-1901). The premiere was at Teatro la Fenice, Venice, March 6, 1853. Verdi's romantic tragic tale of a Parisian courtesan who sacrifices all for love is vividly told in Richard Eyre's production. La Traviata is one of themost beloved Italian operas.
